Hi,
I had bad experience to Avis rental car office at Chicago Midway Airport (MDW).
Please help me to understand.

In US, do we have any government companies or offices to control the price of car rental? Do we have someone to investigate this case?Do we have any number or address to cal for help?

At 11:00 p.m. 7/3/2015, I had to pay $250.00per day for full size car rental

at Avis office in MDW (usually it is under $70.00- $80.00/day to rent). Three times were higher than regular prices.

The problem here was the other

companies did not have any cars to rent
(out of cars). As the result, Avis just
increased their prices as much as high
they could without to be afraid of anybody to control. I had no choice

but took it because my family was
new comer in that city without any relatives.

What did we have here????
